hello all. i am happy to be the first to post to this forum i think it is a great idea.
i have been online gambling mostly playing blackjack on a few sites. i have lost a good deal of money and i feel its starting to take control of my life. has anyone played in the online casinos and has the same problem and what have you done to stop?
Hi Patricia,
I noticed that it was a while ago that you posted but in case you are still checking in here is some simple advice for you.
Only use discretionary income to play Black Jack plus don't gamble on line. Think of gambling like a jail sentence and the online aspect to it like the solitary confinement area of a prison.
In order to get out one simple rule to follow is this;
1)Write your losses off, don't try to win them back. This is like finding yourself in a hole, it is best to build steps to help you get out, the first step is to realize it is not wise to keep digging.
Once your out (and your thinking is back in tune with your instincts to enjoy being a woman) take a few deep breaths, go spend some money on an outfit that makes you feel HOT and put your efforts towards meeting or enjoying time with someone who isn't a gambler, date him, enjoy him, let him undress you...enjoy being sacred with someone....if you follow my advice gambling on-line will lose its appeal faster than you will.
Hope this helps.
Shawn
Wow such wonderful advice.... I have a bit of out of control gambling habit (Not Online). I have maxed out a few credit cards at a casino and struggling to make even the minimum payments now. I realize I have been stupid and really want to stop. I always get that urge. Does thinking gambling as a jail sentence really work? Do you have anymore great logic on how to stop getting those urges? God I want to stop even thinking of it. More advice please.
Thanks :-)
